The Renowned Akzentz Nail Technician Diploma Course
Our Level One Diploma class for those without beauty training, will earn you a recognized Diploma as a prestigious Akzentz© Nail Technician.
You will learn real-world skills from our 3x Canadian Award Winning Akzentz Educator and Salon Manager, Morgan, which will help you to succeed in today's highly competitive market. This course certifies you as a professional nail technician, and is your first step to entering the professional beauty industry. Our program, from start to finish including your logged practical hours, lessons and assignments submitted online is total of 240 hours. 4 days are spent in class with our award-winning Akzentz expert, performing practical nail applications including sculpturing, tips and Luxio Gel Polish

Choose Your Learning Style
Although we highly recommend students attend in-class sessions for the best experience, after the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand the world has changed and so did we. We now offer two ways of learning to suit each student's unique circumstance.
- Hybrid learning
Our recommended class format. Learn in person, hands on at either Calgary, or Lethbridge Academy locations. In-person learning includes access to our online academy portal where you can review lessons, prepare for class and keep track of your assignments. - Online
If you are unable to make it to in-person classes OR the dates for our in person sessions dont align with your calendar, DK Beauty has a userfriendly online platform available. This program has the exact same curriculum of our in person classes and has pre recorded videos. Videos are recorded by your educator Morgan. Morgan is also the educator approving all assignments and test. Therefore she is with you every step of the way! This is a wonderful option for busy students, as the program can be completed at your own pace.
Kit Options
Our kits are currently being revamped June 2024, if you require a detailed kit listing please email Academy@dkbeauty.ca
Price points of the kit are based off of the amount of items in kit, as well as the sizing of the gels you will be working with. Example Standard kit comes with 7g gels and the Deluxe kit comes with 45g gels. Education does not vary because of kit.
