HOW IS PROFORM™ DIFFERENT FROM ACRYLIC?

ProForm™ is a file-off, non-drip hard gel, with the strength of acrylic but the ease of gel, in a user-friendly tube. Unlike traditional acrylics, our formula is HEMA-Free. Use with our HEMA-Free Bond Base and Glow Top for a complete HEMA-Free system.

HOW DO I APPLY AND REMOVE PROFORM™?

Perfection always lies in the prep — make a HEMA-Free mani last longer with careful prep and dehydration of the nail plate, as products without HEMA can often increase oil production.

It’s easy to work with ProForm™ — a mouldable and malleable hard gel, already pre-mixed in a handy tube, so you get the perfect consistency every time.

You will need to apply a small bead on to the stress point of the nail using our ProSculpt Tool and Slip & Sculpt Solution to help you manipulate the gel into the desired shape. ProForm™ doesn’t move or set like other gel formulas so you don’t need to flash-cure each nail as you go, saving you valuable appointment time!

Make sure you focus on leveling the apex and thinning the hard gel out across the rest of the nail to create strength. Unlike our BIAB™gels, gravity won’t help with building the apex when using ProForm™.

When removing ProForm™ we recommend you wear a mask due to the high levels of dust. Firstly, remove the poly gel with a TGB E-File or 120/180 Nail File, starting from the cuticle upwards. The last layer of hard gel can be soaked off using Removal Foils saturated in acetone.

HOW DO I USE PROFORM™ FOR PEDICURES?

Not just for manicures, ProForm™ is the perfect choice for ultra-durable pedicures too! Hard gel overlays are great for repairing splits and building strong overlays.

Choose ProForm™ for reshaping and adding structure to the toenail using the same standard application procedure, but consider that Proform™ is a file off product.

DO I NEED TO DO A TRAINING COURSE TO USE PROFORM™?

If you already have a certification in hard gels and acrylics, then you don’t need to complete our ProForm™ Extension course. We recommend it as a refresher and for anyone without the necessary qualifications.
