 Hello Friends, let me tell you how we started out....

From its modest beginnings as Just Nailz, Calgary, Alberta, DK Beauty has blossomed into a revered purveyor of exquisite professional nail and spa essentials. Embracing our Canadian roots, we stand as a cherished, familial enterprise, rooted in our inception in 1999.

Over 20 years ago... 

At the peak of my nail technician career, I transitioned my home-based nail studio into a hub for sharing my expertise, offering nail classes to empower others. I guided aspiring technicians on the path to success, enabling them to own their businesses.

Fast forward a few years... 

In 1999, I recall many sleepless nights post-signing the lease on my inaugural storefront - was it the right decision? Was my business sufficiently sizable to sustain this? Would customers perceive my small business, then Just Nailz, as credible among numerous established rivals? Initially nerve-wracking, our commitment led to increased foot traffic attracted by our nail technology expertise and distinct product offerings.

How we became DK Beauty...

Transitioning from Just Nailz to DK Beauty started as a family effort, with a focus on modernizing for nail technicians' evolving needs and expanding our brand offerings with the creation of our online store.

While we have experienced success, we are always ready to do more! It has been an incredible journey so far, and we look forward to continuing on what we started all those years ago - supporting nail technicians, small businesses and beauty lovers alike - providing them with the best products and sharing our knowledge.
