In 1974, my father made a decision that would change everything. He looked at his family — his wife, his children — and said Canada had more to offer. So he uprooted us from everything we knew in England, left behind every relative we had, and flew us to a country where we knew no one. No house waiting. No accommodations booked. Nothing but his belief that hard work in a new land could build a better life.  A big metal English "Trunk" filled with tickets and clothes- and a 747 British Airways flight - off we went.

He was right.

That belief is in my bones. It's why Kevin and I spent so many years without a single day off building DK Beauty. No vacations. No shortcuts. No handouts. Just two people who refused to quit.

Today, when our Defender, Tesla and Range Rover sit in the driveway of the country home we built, we don't see luxury — we see proof. Proof that my dad's dream was worth following. Proof that showing up every single day, doing things right, and putting  customers first actually works. And we are so proud.

That's the standard we bring to everything at DK Beauty. And it's the standard we hold for you.
